New Additions: The OM1 Bundler and Rewinder Line
The investment focuses on acquiring two key pieces of equipment: the OM1 Bundler from Infinity Machine & Engineering Corp. and a Rewinder Line from Valmet. - OM1 Bundler from Infinity Machine & Engineering Corp.:
The OM1 Bundler is a next-generation packaging solution that will streamline the bundling process, delivering precision and speed. Notably, this machine will also contribute to Nova Tissue’s sustainability goals by enabling further reductions in LDPE (low-density polyethylene) packaging. By minimizing the use of plastic in packaging, the OM1 Bundler helps the company reduce its environmental footprint while maintaining high standards of packaging quality. The machine also has the capability to add a casepacker module in the future to further reduce plastic usage. - Rewinder Line from Valmet:
The new Rewinder Line features advanced technology, including a rewinder equipped with Sincro technology, an Embosser 452/D with Engraving Solution rollers to enhance product quality and aesthetics, and a precision unwind stand. The Embosser 452/D, equipped with the Aquabond System, is particularly noteworthy as it allows Nova Tissue to eliminate the use of laminate glue, reducing glue consumption to zero. This innovative approach not only enhances the quality of the tissue products, offering improved softness and strength but also aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of its production processes.
