With over 35 years of experience, Tree Aid’s efforts are led by local people with local knowledge and expertise. They are a key part of the African-led Great Green Wall movement, growing one tree every 19 seconds. Since 1987, Tree Aid has planted over 30 million trees, and they aim to work with 2.4 million people and grow 12 million more trees across the Sahel by 2027.
