Nova Tissue is FSC Chain of Custody Certified

We have some incredibly exciting news to share. Nova Tissue has officially achieved FSC Chain of Custody Certification.

This is a milestone we are truly proud of, and we want to take a moment to explain what it means, why it matters, and most importantly, what it means for you every time you place an order with us.

First, What is FSC?

If you haven’t come across the FSC label before, here’s a quick introduction.

FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council. It is a global, independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring the world’s forests are managed responsibly. Their mission is to make sure that the trees harvested to make everyday products like tissue and paper are sourced in a way that protects ecosystems, supports local communities, and preserves forests for future generations.

FSC is widely recognised as the world’s most trusted forest certification organisation, with its label recognised by consumers across the globe. When you see the FSC label on a product, it is not just a sticker. It is a verified and independently audited promise.

So What is FSC Chain of Custody Certification?

This is where it gets really important for Nova Tissue and for you as our customer.

FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification tracks the full journey of forest-based materials from the moment they leave a responsibly managed forest, through every company that handles, processes, or trades them, all the way to the final product that lands at your door.

Think of it as an unbroken, verified paper trail. Every single link in that chain, including Nova Tissue, must be independently audited and certified by an FSC-accredited certification body.

To achieve this certification, Nova Tissue had to:

  • Appoint a dedicated management representative responsible for compliance
  • Implement documented procedures and train our team thoroughly
  • Maintain detailed material records and accounting systems
  • Pass a rigorous independent audit

This is not a self-declared claim. It is a certification that has been earned.

What Does This Mean for Every Order You Place?

In plain terms, when you purchase Nova Tissue products that carry the FSC® label, you can be confident that the forest-based materials used in those products come from responsibly managed sources and verified supply chains.

The raw materials in our tissue products come from verified, responsibly managed sources. Our supply chain has been checked. Our processes have been audited. The FSC claim on our products is backed by a globally recognised certification system, not just a marketing promise.

You’re not just buying tissue. You’re buying tissue you can genuinely feel good about.

Why This Matters More Than Ever

Sustainability is no longer a nice-to-have. It is something customers rightly expect from the brands they choose. But with so much greenwashing out there, it can be hard to know who to trust.

FSC Chain of Custody Certification cuts through the noise. It is independently verified, globally recognised, and built on a rigorous set of standards that cover not just environmental responsibility, but also social and labour practices throughout the supply chain.

At Nova Tissue, we have always been committed to doing things the right way. Achieving this certification is proof of that commitment and a promise that we will continue to hold ourselves to the highest standards.

This is Just the Beginning

We see this certification not as a finish line, but as a foundation. It is the start of a deeper, ongoing commitment to sustainability that will shape everything we do, from the products we develop to the partners we work with.

We are incredibly grateful to our team, our suppliers, and our customers for being part of this journey. None of this would be possible without you.
